The History
How Fulbrook came to be.
The story behind this luxury community, in plain language, as the Sharcom Realty Group team tells it to buyers who are just starting their search. Dates and figures are approximate and drawn from public histories; verify specifics before you rely on them.
Fulshear's luxury communities, including Weston Lakes, Fulbrook and Cross Creek West, developed along the city's frontier in Fort Bend County during the 2000s and 2010s, riding the same master-planned wave as Cross Creek Ranch.
Fulshear itself has roots in the 1820s, when Churchill Fulshear Sr. received one of Stephen F. Austin's original land grants, and incorporated in 1977 before booming a generation later.

Fulshear reported about 16,900 residents in the 2020 U.S. Census, up from roughly 700 in 2000. Its luxury communities are among the most affluent new-home markets in the Katy ISD and Lamar CISD border area.
